Experience

Tyne
Hospitality was formed in November 1999 and has completed assignments in
new hotel development projects in Victoria, Kelowna and California. An
exclusive listing to sell the Guildford Inn & Suites in
Surrey, in receivership, was concluded successfully in less than 4 months
in February 2006. Other hotels have since been sold in Victoria, downtown
Vancouver and New Westminster.

From
1993-1999, Mr. Wilkinson formed and managed a Hospitality Division for
Royal LePage Commercial Inc., He sold hotels in
downtown Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary airport, Fort McMurray and a number
of smaller centres on Vancouver Island.

Mr. Wilkinson regularly
attends international hotel investment conferences in Los Angeles, New
York, Phoenix, Toronto, Berlin and the Caribbean and extensively travels
to develop a network of international buyers, consultants, brokers,
financiers and developers. Assembling product for sale and development is
also an objective of these travels.

Mr.
Wilkinson achieved the highest award of the Hotel, Catering and
International Management Association of UK (now the International
Hospitality Institute), after completing a degree in Hotel Management
(MHCIMA) at what is now the Thames Valley University.

After leaving hotel school,
Mr. Wilkinson had a variety of management positions in the hotel industry
with Sonesta Hotels, Rockresorts, Westin Hotels, Hyatt International and
Canadian Pacific Hotels.

His
hotel operating experience was obtained in London, England, Bermuda,
British Virgin Islands, Acapulco, Mexico, Vancouver and Victoria, BC.
Calgary, Alberta, and Toronto, Ontario. All hotels were full-service
upscale or luxury properties ranging from the luxurious Little Dix Bay in
the British Virgin Islands to the historic Fairmont Empress Hotel in
Victoria and the Hyatt Regency Toronto (currently the Four Seasons
Hotel).
Real Estate and other
Business Experience

Between
1982 and 1993, Mr. Wilkinson sought and performed management consulting
assignments as an independent management consultant and owner of
Tyne Management Services Limited. These assignments were
related to computerized based solutions for accounting, property
management and real estate development management information systems.
Clients included Cadillac Fairview Corporation, First City Developments,
Penreal Advisors, Confederation Life Realty Services, John Laing
Developments and many other smaller real estate owners, operators and
pension funds. These assignments were performed in Canada, USA, UK and
Bermuda.
Abbey
Glen Property Corporation: which was a multi-faceted public real estate
development company with over 300 projects in Canada and the USA.
Macaulay
Nicolls Maitland & Company Limited: which was one of the oldest full
service real estate brokerage and property management companies in western
Canada, formed in 1888.
First
City Developments Inc.: which was a public real estate development and
property management company with operations across Canada, Seattle, Boston and
Los Angeles.
Memberships and
Associations
Mr.Wilkinson is a member of the International Hospitality Institute
(previously the Hotel, Catering & International Management
Association), British Columbia and Yukon Hotel Association and the
Alberta Hotel & Lodging Association. He is an alumni of
Thames Valley University, London England and a retired Member of
the Certified General Accountant’s
Association.
